The Pashupati Nath Temple, also known as the Jagmohaneshwarnath Temple, is the newest amongst the seven Nath Temples. The temple is dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath
The temple of Pashupatinath is known only by people in Nepal. But there is also a temple of Pashupatinath among the seven Nath temples in Bareilly known as Nathnagari. This temple is located near Pilibhit Bypass-Bisalpur Chauraha. This temple also has an old belief. Pashupati Nath Temple also has a stone brought from Ram Sethu in Rameshwaram. that are still swimming today. There are 108 Shivlings in this temple complex dedicated to 108 names of Lord Shiva. Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swarupanand Saraswati had also come to establish this temple.
Knowledgeable people tell that this temple located on Pilibhit bypass was built in the year 2003 by a builder of the city. The Shivling here is five-faced similar to that of Pashupatinath (Nepal). There is also a Bhairav temple here. There is a lake around the temple. It took a year to build it, but now the fame of this temple has reached the surrounding districts.
The main temple has been constructed here on the lines of Nepal temple. Along with this, the reservoir present around the temple attracts visitors here. Mount Kailash has been built in the temple premises itself. In which the falling water stream is made on sight. Rudraksh and sandalwood trees are also planted in the temple premises. Whose beauty adds beauty to the temple. The maximum crowd takes place in the temple in Sawan.
